  • When I first switched rackets, it took me a little while to get used to it, but once I did, the VOLTRIC FB was good. My shots have quite a lot of power, and not only can I hit sharply, but with more practice it becomes easier to control too.

  • I bought it because of rumors that it's incredibly light, and it really is unbelievably light.
It's perfect for front court in doubles and the like; even shots I couldn't have touched with other rackets, I can reach just by putting my racket out. I don't think there's any other racket where simply switching makes you feel such a big change.
However, because it's so light, it was hard at first to get clears deep, and smash power drops significantly, so I feel it has a lot of downsides too.
At the very least, I don't think it's a singles racket.

  • I took up badminton again after a long break, so I bought this, figuring it was a good time to get a new racket.
The price was about 10,000 yen at a sporting goods shop in my neighborhood.
Its classification was “attack type, beginner/intermediate,” and with its lightness and a black-and-pink design that isn't too flashy, I felt I'd found a racket that suits me.

It hasn't been long since I bought it, but it feels great to use. Even I, without much strength, can swing it around easily (lol).
Maybe because the website says it's head-heavy, smashes feel easy to hit.

I'd recommend it for people like me who don't have much strength and can't send the shuttle where they want.

  • I was on the badminton team from junior high through university. I used a lot of rackets during that time, but the one I used the longest was the “GRAPOWER 110L.”
My main impression of this racket is that it's “highly durable.” I think badminton rackets break fairly easily (it depends on how often you play, but in my case I replaced mine at least once a year), yet I used the GRAPOWER 110L for about 4 years.
My friends and I called this racket “Mr. Dried Squid.” That's because after using it for nearly 4 years, it becomes completely at home in your hand.
And since you know the racket's characteristics, you can picture what trajectory the shuttle will take when you hit it.
So at first I thought it was a racket without much character, but the more I used it, the more my impression changed to a racket that grows on you, like dried squid that gets tastier the more you chew. Even now that I'm working, I still use it.
The successor to that racket is the GRAENERGY 110L.

  • I'd had my eye on it for a while, and a friend had one, so I tried hitting with it, liked it, and decided to buy it. I think the best thing about this racket is its large sweet spot. Even when my timing was off or I thought I hadn't hit the center, the feel at the moment of contact was good, and I often felt that power was still going into the shuttle. This racket makes up for my mistakes and brings out my ability plus a little extra.
