  • As for the angle, when it comes to smashes, it does feel like they dip down.
    If you hit with perfect timing, the head does the work and you can hit pretty satisfying smashes. But if your timing is off, they float. To get a steep angle, you need to improve your play. You can't just rely on the racket.
    The image is that, in situations where you can already hit a shot that dips down properly, it helps push it down just a little bit further. If your shots usually float, don't expect too much. How about cut smashes? Personally, I don't feel a big effect so far. Partly because I don't use cut smashes much, I'd like to try hitting them more actively.
    For receives and drives, it rebounds the shuttle firmly off quick touches and is easy to handle, so it's suited to doubles. It also seems very well suited to aggressive play where you move in from the back to the front.

  • This ARCSABER FB uses a very light material called Nanometric, which lets you drive high-speed smashes into the opponent's court with quick racket handling. Being too light is a bit of a drawback, and for people with power it doesn't feel satisfying to hit. It's for people who don't have much power.

  • Among YONEX rackets in this price range, I think it's an excellent, versatile product. The lightness is so-so, but it's an impressive racket whose suppleness and rebound when you swing really stand out. It lets you hit the shuttle cleanly and send it deep, and it's compact too, so for intermediate to advanced players it will become a partner you can really master.

  • I bought it because I liked the color and because I like playing singles. It has some flex, so it's satisfying to hit. The T-joint part feels unique; I wonder if that's what keeps the face so stable?

  • A teammate was using the same one, so I borrowed it briefly to try. Not only was it light, the swing was good too, so I liked it and bought my own, and once I'd broken it in and gotten used to it, it became a pretty great partner.
    I use my backhand a lot, and I'm especially satisfied with the maneuverability for that.
