  • With its compact frame and stiff shaft, it's not a racket anyone can master. However, the repulsion when you hit the sweet spot and the explosive smashes are unique and exhilarating. Thanks to the compact frame, it swings through easily and is easy to swing. As a result, you're less likely to get jammed on push receives and drives. However, the sweet spot is narrow, and because of its inherent feel and a shaft that doesn't flex easily, the shuttle doesn't fly if you miss the sweet spot.

  • It's head-light with good repulsion, so you can hit the shuttle without putting in much effort. The difference is obvious compared to other YONEX series such as DUORA and ASTROX.

    I used the 3U, and I didn't find it inconvenient in terms of maneuverability even in doubles, so I think it works. Women or people not confident in their power might be fine with 4U, but basically even the 3U is light enough to handle fast rallies, so I don't think there's that much difference between weights.

  • Review of the 3U. Compared to the ARCSABER 10, there are differences in many aspects like maneuverability, feel, and how the shaft flexes, and although it's the higher-end model of the 10, it feels like a slightly different racket from the 10.
    Compared to the 10, the swing feels a bit sluggish. It's slightly closer to the swing of the aero-shaped frames in the NANOSPEED and NANORAY series. The feel is unique: repulsion is added to the grabbing feel of the ARCSABER series. After grabbing the shuttle, it pushes it out with repulsion, so the racket gives the shuttle a bit of extra momentum. The shaft seems a bit easier to flex compared to the 10, but the head weight also plays a role, so I can't say for sure.

    Personally, I think it's become easier to use in doubles too. When swinging, the face feels slightly smaller than the 10 (it was actually the same size as the 10), so maneuverability is better. Personally, I find the 10 easier for singles and the 11 easier for doubles.

  • I use the 4U. It doesn't feel that heavy when you hold it, so light that you doubt whether it's really head-heavy. Maneuverability is not much different from the DUORA 7, so it was very easy to use. Overhead shots of course, and also receives, lobs, drives and so on are easy to return thanks to the head weight. It's designed to feel even less head-heavy than the VOLTRIC 70 E-TUNE, and I felt the evolution of technology.

  • The 4U has a balance where you hardly feel the head weight, and its maneuverability is very good. Not only on drives and receives, but also on overhead shots, you can transfer power solidly.

    The 3U is slightly more head-heavy than the 4U, but its maneuverability is still better than the ARCSABER 11 or VOLTRIC 70 E-TUNE. Compared to the 4U, you can use the racket's weight, so it also works for singles.

    I'd been using YONEX rackets until now, so at first the flex and maneuverability due to the shaft thickness felt unfamiliar, but once I got used to it, it's very easy to use.
