    User Review SummaryAI Summary
The Astrox 88S has received overwhelmingly positive reviews across all 30 comments, with the 4U5G model being particularly popular. The 5mm shorter design combined with excellent maneuverability despite its head-heavy balance is supported by users ranging from beginners to advanced players.
    ■ Frequently mentioned points
    • 5mm shorter design balances maneuverability with swing speed
    • Head-heavy frame doesn't feel heavy during play
    • Exceptional control in front-court drive and push shots
    • Easy to hit shots to intended locations with high precision
    • 4U recommended; 3U tends to feel heavy
    ■ Representative voices
▲ PositiveThe racket successfully combines the swing speed of head-light rackets with the power of head-heavy ones at a high level. Among 30+ rackets used, it offers the best feel and most perfect balance for comprehensive shot execution.
▽ CriticalSingles players may find clears difficult to execute, and power hitters comparing it to Voltric series models will notice less smash power. The stiff shaft requires some strength, making it challenging for beginners.

Best (Experience:2-3 years) Easy to use

This is a review of the 3U. The racket was described as being suited to front court play, and I really think that's true. The head is heavy, but the weight is distributed so you don't feel the heaviness, so you can quickly cut off shuttles that float up. The Rotational Generator System, common to the ASTROX line, makes it really easy to swing and lets you get back to your home position right away, so even in fast-paced drive battles in doubles you can hit quickly and at sharp angles, which makes it comfortable to use. Of course, this control and ease of swing also suit singles, so it's a racket you won't regret buying!!

ylnnnn 3366 (Experience:4-5 years) An aggressive, short racket

These are my impressions of the 3U.
What I noticed most was, as expected, how short the racket is. When I play doubles I normally use the ARCSABER 11, so when I first started using the 88S, the shortness felt odd. But I gradually got used to it, and now I think it's an easy racket to use.
I think it's the best racket for pushes, drives and receives. The shuttle hold feels very good, and you can move the racket quickly.
It takes a little time to get used to, but I recommend it for players who take the front court in doubles!

      Dansoku-san (Experience:2-3 years) A racket I recommend

It's a racket from YONEX, the famous racket maker, and I chose it because I liked the colors. In high school I played badminton competitively. Even after starting work, I still play badminton occasionally, and I'm glad to have it for those times. It's also handy that it can be used in both the front and rear court.

Take (Experience:11-20 years) Easy to use

I bought the 4U and have used it for two weeks, and now that I'm used to it, I'm posting a review.
I used to use a NANORAY, then took a liking to the ASTROX 77 in 4U and used it as my main racket.
Right after buying the 88S, partly because I chose the wrong string, my smashes floated, my drops caught the net, and it took me a while to get the timing.
Once I got used to it there were no problems; on the contrary, the control was good and it became easy to use. I felt it really is an attacking all-round model for doubles.

Honestly, the difference from the 77 is that the head is a little heavier and the control is maybe just slightly better, and even alternating between it and the 77, I didn't feel much difference.
Its character also changes with string type and tension, so next time I'll try it with the same string as my 77.

Yonesuke (Experience:2-3 years) My experience using products from top sports brand YONEX

YONEX badminton rackets have great design, and I love that they look cool just holding them. The grip on the racket itself is easy to hold, and it fits snugly in my palm when I swing, so I can transfer power efficiently, which I also rate highly. It's not just about design; it's highly functional and lightweight too. I'd never had a string break before, and I'm now in my third year of using the one I bought this time and have only replaced the string once; the new string matches the racket's colors well and looks refined, so I'm very satisfied. Once you buy and use a YONEX racket, you can hardly bring yourself to switch to another one. I'll keep using YONEX rackets, enjoying customizing them to fit my hand, and I want to make badminton itself even more fun.

Torazo Max (Experience:6-10 years) You can hit smashes with the trajectory in mind

It's a racket well suited to an aggressive approach. It's easy to fire off precisely aimed smashes, and the grip is stable, so maneuverability is very good. It's also highly durable, and I feel being able to keep using it with confidence for a long time is another plus.

      Yoharu (Experience:2-3 years) I think it's a good racket!

These are my impressions of the 3U.
I used to use the ARCSABER 11, but my 11 got scratched up and worn out, so I decided to buy a new racket and tried the new ASTROX 88S!
Personally I like rackets that are slightly head-heavy, so it suited me really well! It feels a little heavier than the 11, but I got used to it quickly, and although my strength is the front court, smashes work just fine too! Because it's heavy, you might worry about maneuverability, but if you consciously keep your wrist up, you can keep up with fast exchanges.
