  • Stiff shaft, extremely head-heavy, and a small face on top of that, so it's very much for advanced players. Around me, the only people I've seen master it are the kind who win district tournaments. Still, there's no doubt it's a classic on par with the ARCSABER 11, which is still loved long after its release.

  • You can get a Grade 1 approved shuttle for about 2,500 yen, so I think it's quite good value for money. However, compared to YONEX's NEW OFFICIAL, also a Grade 1 approved shuttle, the quality is noticeably lower. The feel struck me as a bit light. I think its flight is top class in this price range.

  • THE all-rounder. You won't lose anything by having one on hand. It has no quirks, so clears and receives go all the way to the back, and smashes come down steeply. That said, for strong male players it might send the shuttle too far.

  • The design is one of the coolest among YONEX rackets. But when I used it, the shaft was stiff and it was very head-heavy, so I felt you'd have to be quite advanced to master it. Being able to hit heavy smashes feels great.

  • It's incredibly easy to swing, so you can do quick racket work, and your swing speed goes up so you can hit fast smashes. However, your shots get lighter, and it's so different from other rackets that it can be hard to handle, or you might not be able to use other rackets anymore. I recommend it for intermediate players.
