  • I found it on another review site, got curious, and bought it. It's a 5U, but the weight is closer to a 4U and it's quite head-heavy, so surprisingly smashes feel solid.
    As for control, whether it's drives or lobs, it's easy to send the shuttle exactly where I aim. It really feels like a racket in the control
    category.
    It's a racket for front court players in men's doubles or female power hitters.
    (For women without much power, maybe the cx9000j is a better recommendation than this one?)

  • I tried it out, liked it, and bought it.
    Here are three impressions after using it:
    ① Cross-court counters off smash receives and controlling hairpins are especially easy
    ② On top of good hold, the racket's weight helps, so clears are easy to hit deep
    ③ Maybe because it's even balance, it doesn't feel as heavy as the catalog specs suggest
    It depends on your strength and technique, but I think it's something you can use for both singles and doubles.
    A new model of this racket is coming out in March, so I'm thinking about buying it (apparently the new model will come in 4U in addition to the current model's 2U and 3U)

  • I heard it called "VICTOR's ARCSABER" and bought the 4U5 as a backup for my ARCSABER 11.
    When I first hit with it, it felt heavier than the ARCSABER and the feel was stiff, so it was hard to use.
    Compared to the ARCSABER, the head is heavier and the shaft is stiffer, but the repulsion is good and it swings easily.
    When I can swing all the way through, clears and lobs fly well and smashes come down steeply.
    I think it's a racket for intermediate players and above who have a certain amount of swing speed.

  • This is a review after test-hitting the 4U5.
    It's easy to hit steep, downward smashes.
    I had personally avoided it because I assumed the smash power came at the cost of maneuverability, but I didn't feel the racket was as heavy or as hard to play finesse shots with as I'd expected.
    It's said to have one of the stiffest shafts in the ASTROX series, but I didn't find it that stiff either.
    Like the 88S, it's easy to see why so many people use it.

  • Every shot is easy to hit at a high level.
    The downsides are that, because of the compact frame, it requires the skill to hit the sweet spot, and if you miss the sweet spot the shock goes straight to your shoulder.
