  • I bought it when I was a badminton beginner and didn't know anything about rackets.
    I've since let it go because I use another racket now, but it can hit fairly strong smashes,
    and since it's light, maneuverability is good. Whenever I use it occasionally, it reminds me how good its performance is,
    that's my impression of this racket. Because it's light, hairpins with sloppy form
    tend to float, which is a downside.

  • I was looking for the BRAVE SWORD 12 in 3U, but maybe because of its popularity, many places were sold out, so I bought the 3U of this racket, which has similar performance.
    The feel is unique and it seems like it'll take time to get used to, but overhead shots are reasonably easy to hit, and my impression is that its strength is a good balance that also makes finesse shots easy to control.
    However, when it comes to smashes (it can't be helped...), other head-heavy rackets win in terms of power.
    I recommend it to people whose creed is speed play, but who still want smashes too...!

  • It's so light and easy to swing that you wonder, is this really 3U? I usually use other 4U head-heavy rackets as my main ones, and this is lighter than those!
    It has no quirks and is easy to use, so I think it's number one for ease of use in the CUSTOM EDGE series. The only pity is that it's been discontinued.
    The successor seems to be the GUNGNIR, and I'd like to try it if I get the chance.

  • I'd been using head-heavy rackets with stiff-ish shafts, but my shoulder started hurting, so I bought this intending to switch to one with a flexible shaft.
    With a flexible shaft and even balance, I thought smashes would be weak, but surprisingly you can hit smashes with good extension.
    It can do anything in the front court or rear court, and I think it's a racket you can recommend to anyone except power players who like heavy rackets.

  • My impressions after borrowing it from an acquaintance and test-hitting it.
    Thanks to the weight in the head, pushes are easy to put down, and drives come out solid.
    Clears are reasonably easy to get deep too, but until you get used to it, my impression is that it's hard to put power into smashes.
    I'd strongly recommend it to people who are good at front-court play, but I don't think it's meant for rear-court players in doubles, men in mixed doubles, or singles players. I also don't think I can recommend it to people who mainly play the front court but still want to smash solidly when pushed back.
    Win the drive exchanges, or break down the defense and ① let your rear-court partner finish it
    ② push it down when it comes up near the net
    ③ finish off a chance ball that comes near the middle of the court with a smash
    I feel that playing like this lets you make the most of the racket's strengths.
    Personally, I like the racket's design. If there were a rating field, I'd give it 10 out of 10.
