  • I use it for practice at an adult club. It's on the pricey side at 3,900 yen a dozen online, but even after about 8 games the feathers are still standing firm, so it's tough. It feels light to hit, and spins and cuts are easy. I use speed number 5 in winter and 3 the rest of the year, and it flies well without being affected by temperature changes.

  • Even though it's been made lighter, it has high repulsion, so you can return fast shuttles without putting in much effort. I also get the impression you can hit shots accurately to where you're aiming. Overall it's a well-balanced racket, so it feels stable.

  • As the name suggests, I use it for practice. It's fairly pricey, but even so, I can hit it without holding back and the feel is nice, so it's really handy. There's hardly any variation between shuttles, and the quality is very consistent. Unless you're really reckless with it, it won't get beat up within a few days.

  • It's fairly pricey, but the durability is outstanding, so even when used for practice it's slow to wear out and you can hit it as hard as you want. Of course it feels great when new, but even with a few chipped feathers it still feels as good as new. The shot barely wobbles, so it can be used as a match shuttle too.

  • When it comes to shuttles, YONEX NEW OFFICIAL is number one! At club practice and matches, we sometimes use other manufacturers' shuttles, but depending on the shuttle, the flight and feel differ, or the shuttle's trajectory wobbles left and right. Also, shuttles other than YONEX NEW OFFICIAL break more easily than NEW OFFICIAL, so you go through more of them, and in the end NEW OFFICIAL often turns out cheaper.
