  • GOSEN NEO FEATHER OPAL GFN-180 can be called the perfect practice shuttle. Its value for money is second to none compared with other shuttles. It is a shuttle suited to everyone from beginners to advanced players. It is also extremely durable and can be used for a long time. It is not a tournament shuttle, but it is more than enough for practice.

  • I have been playing badminton for nearly 10 years. I am particular about shuttles too, and among all the shuttles I have used, the one I found most durable, not too heavy, and easiest to use is YONEX TOURNAMENT. Wind has a big effect in badminton, but this shuttle has enough weight to be used even when the windows are not completely shut, so I recommend it.

  • It is a tournament shuttle of the kind used in international matches and the Olympics, so I think its quality is superb. The beautiful look of its even, uniform feathers, its carry and stability in flight, and the acceleration when you hit it right in the sweet spot leave nothing to complain about. You see a lot of Chinese-made shuttles around these days, but this shuttle makes me realize once again how great Japanese-made ones are. It is expensive, but I think the best approach is to practice and train until you have truly mastered it, and then go into matches.

  • If possible I would like to use YONEX's step-up shuttle, "TOURNAMENT," for practice, but because of the price, I always use NEW OFFICIAL for practice right before matches. It is slightly less value for money for practice, but it is perfect for tuning up for matches. Since I started working, I have always gone into matches with this approach.

  • What I am currently using is YONEX NEW OFFICIAL. It feels like true YONEX quality; it uses natural cork and above all it flies really well. Its ample distance and comfortable feel are the best. It is also very durable and can be used for a long time. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it fully lives up to expectations. I definitely recommend it.
