Strings of 0.65mm or thinner have been increasing lately. Compared with KIZUNA's Z58 and KAWASAKI's ELITE 61, it has a softer feel. That said, the repulsion and snap unique to ultra-thin gauges are on a whole different level from the 0.65mm class. Among them, Z58 is the one for a crisp quick release, ELITE 61 if you want something a bit harder, and in terms of balancing hold and repulsion, I find AEROSONIC the easiest to use. I can't really recommend stringing it tight; from around 23 lbs it becomes very prone to breaking, and especially in winter the slightest thing starts it fraying and then it snaps. Basically, it's not an offensive string you string rock-hard, but one suited to players who build their game on defense and break down opponents. Thanks to its high repulsion, even a defensive clear from an awkward position goes nice and deep and high, and even your opponent's attacking shots will clear the net if you just get your racket on them. It's a string that bails you out in lots of ways. As for how to use it, I think stringing it just a little tight on a racket with a soft, flexible shaft makes it easier to balance offense and defense. Women and control players, give it a try.

I've always liked thinner-gauge strings, so I was using this until a little while ago. I love how it goes "PANG!" with repulsion. But being 0.61mm, it breaks easily. I also like KIZUNA's Z58 and 63, but whether it's the stringer or the string, I don't know, they shift out of place unusually easily and seem to break a bit more easily than YONEX, so after using them once or twice I haven't strung them again. If you're going to string a thin gauge, rather than another brand's, I think AEROSONIC might be better

YONEX's ultra-thin gauge AEROSONIC.
Thanks to its thinness, it has great repulsion, loading up slightly at impact and then sending the shuttle flying.
I imagine even players without much power can hit shots that really carry.
Speed shots are its forte too.
The sound rings out with a really high pitch.However, since it's only 0.61, I don't think I can really recommend it for people who "want to hit hard," "want solid feel," or "want to use high tension."
