  • The YONEX ARCSABER 11 I was using broke, so I bought this racket, which I'd had my eye on.
    MIZUNO seems to be putting real effort into their designs lately!

    When I first swung it, it felt head-heavy.
    When I buy rackets, I buy ones with the same head balance as measured by the shop, but even compared to a racket that should have the same balance, the head felt heavier.
    It's not tiring to swing, but it feels like holding a 3U racket with the same balance. (Only the feel, it's not as tiring as a 3U)

    As for the feel, it gathers for a moment and has a satisfying, solid hit.
    It doesn't have the bazooka-like repulsion and sound of the FORTIUS TOUR V, but it handles every shot competently.
    It's a very easy-to-handle, well-balanced racket.
    If you're undecided, definitely give it a try.

  • I was using the CALIBER VA and wondered if this was its successor?, so I bought it.

    In the end, as you'd expect, it's "a completely different thing."
    It has a compact frame, so it's easy to swing.
    Maybe because of the oval shape of the racket, I got the feeling that the sweet spot is slightly off?
    But the power and speed when you hit the sweet spot are incredible.

    The head isn't all that heavy.
    The shaft is on the stiff side, but there's also a sense of it loading up before sending the shuttle off.
    It's definitely a good racket, but I think it's also one that divides opinion.
    If you want something a bit more head-heavy than even balance, with explosive power on smashes and pushes without sacrificing maneuverability, I'd definitely recommend it.

    As shown in Coach Hayakawa's promo video, it's a wild horse with a strong personality.
    But once you tame it, it's unstoppable!

  • I bought it on a friend's recommendation.
    I was using the ARCSABER 11 at the same time, so this is a comparison with that.

    It's an even-balance or slightly head-light racket, so the maneuverability was outstanding.
    Maybe because of the frame shape, swinging it also felt refreshing.
    It doesn't rebound excessively for no reason, so it was a great weapon in drive exchanges and in the front court.

    However, for me, since I like the feeling of catching (holding?) the shuttle, on clears and smashes the time the shuttle stays on the racket was short and it felt like it left the racket right away, which I think was a bit of a letdown.

    All in all, it's a good racket, but one more disappointing thing is that it "breaks easily."
    Mine snapped while I was hitting a smash.
    Of course, it hadn't hit anything before that.
    Even if it's to keep it light, I wish it were a bit more rigid.

  • I never really liked YONEX rackets, but I got hooked on this one.

    I think it's an all-purpose racket with no weak areas.
    Good for attacking, good for defending.
    Bring on anything.

    But it doesn't have a 'this is it!' feature either.
    I'd say it feels like an extremely well-rounded racket with very high stats across the board.
    As someone who likes rackets with some character, after using it for a while it started to feel a bit lacking.
    Still, it's easy to use in any situation, so when I feel a bit off my game, it's a racket that helps tremendously.

  • I went to a shop looking for an even-balance racket and came across this one.
    This is the first time I've used a MIZUNO racket.

    The face is a size more compact than a standard racket, so I think opinions will be divided on that.
    But I think this compact, slim frame is what makes it so easy to swing.

    Also, the maker's website says it excels in low exchanges like drives, but rather than the "just bounce everything back" feel of the YONEX NANORAY series, it felt like it holds the shuttle for a split second.
    I think the shaft is on the stiff side, so it's strange that it gave me that feeling.
