Compared to shuttles in a higher price range than this one, such as STANDARD, I get the impression it's a little lacking in softness, but other than that, it's a shuttle with very good performance. Its durability and flight are more than adequate, and the price isn't that high, so among practice shuttles it's a strong ally economically. What makes it stand out compared to other shuttles in the same price range is its durability. Even after a fair amount of rallying, the feathers don't break easily, which really helps.

I got this shuttle as a prize at a tournament. Having used it, it feels like it flies quite far even without putting much power in. The feel seemed quite good, but it does not seem very durable. It is common for me to use up about two in a single game. It feels more like a practice shuttle than a tournament shuttle.

Its biggest feature is economy, so it suits cases where you just want to stock up on lots of cheap shuttles and get in a lot of practice.

This shuttle is a model sold only through an association of specialty stores and not listed in the catalog. There's a lot of variation, so it's not really suited for matches or pre-match practice, but its strength is that you can keep using it for daily practice or as a shuttle for feeding drills.

I started badminton at 10 and I'm now in my 15th year of playing. In my student days we used STANDARD II as our practice shuttle, and our whole club (10 people) would destroy 4-5 dozen new shuttles a day. Back then I had a chance to hit CLEAR I, and my impression was that it didn't fly as well as TRAINING and broke a little more easily. But since becoming a working adult I've gotten stronger and no longer need the distance of TRAINING, and since it's reasonably durable and relatively affordable, it's been very handy as a practice shuttle.

CLEAR 1 is a model sold only through an association of specialty shops and isn't listed in the catalog. Compared to other brands' shuttles, YONEX shuttles don't suffer broken feather shafts, so even when they're no longer usable for matches, you can keep using them for feeding drills. Speaking only of CLEAR 1, though, there's a lot of variation, so it's not suited to practice before matches.

This shuttle is only stocked at a limited number of mass retailers and specialty stores, but it's excellent. I heard that CLEAR ONE is something like an outlet version of the feathers used for NEW OFFICIAL and OFFICIAL, so I tried it, and its durability and flight really were similar to NEW OFFICIAL in some ways.
