    User Review SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as a high-performance racket for doubles backcourt play. The powerful and stable smash is its greatest appeal, but its head-heavy design and hard ball feel cause significant variation in suitability depending on playing style and skill level.
    ■ Frequently mentioned points
    • Powerful smashes that drop easily
    • Optimized for doubles backcourt
    • Good swing despite head-heavy design
    • Hard ball feel and stiff shaft
    • Feels lighter once accustomed
    ■ Representative voices
▲ PositiveThe smash power and exhilarating feel are unbeatable. For a doubles backcourt racket, the weighty smash it delivers is astonishing. Despite being head-heavy, it swings well even at 4U weight.
▽ CriticalDoesn't suit users accustomed to stiff-shafted head-light rackets. Those prioritizing speed and quickness over power should consider other rackets instead of relying on this one's characteristics.

      Black （Experience：4-5 years） The 88D is insane

This is probably the racket that fits my playing style best out of all the ones I've used.
On offense, I can just swing away with full force, and on defense, even though it has a bit of weight, I can react quickly. By the way, I bought the 3U, but I don't get tired at all swinging it. It's just a great racket.

Takuro （Experience：2-3 years） YONEX, as expected

I'm an intermediate player with 2 years of experience. This is my first YONEX racket, and the stability is just as impressive as you'd expect! The feel is transmitted directly to my palm, so the accuracy of my play has improved enormously. The durability is also really high, which I appreciate.

Kanetsugu （Experience：6-10 years） Lets you play flexibly

It's a very handy racket that lets you move freely whether you're in the front court or the rear court. It's designed so the momentum of your follow-through doesn't drop off easily, so I feel it's also suited to continuous attacks. The price range is reasonable too, and it's good value for money.

Koume （Experience：6-10 years） Great for smashing

The YONEX ASTROX 88D is a very powerful racket, and even as a woman I can get speed on my smashes with it. It also easily gets distance on clears, so I mainly use it for mixed doubles with male partners.
