  • Since I can swing through comfortably on overhead strokes, I felt my smashes got sharper. Even I, who don't really like smashing because my smashes aren't fast, find smashing feels great. Hitting with a flicking motion, both clears and high backhands flew well. Could this be thanks to the Sonic Flare System, which keeps the face stable even when you flick it!?

  • I felt that if you can catch it properly on the sweet spot, your smashes get faster. This is probably related to the small face I mentioned earlier. The ARCSABER Z-SLASH is also designed with a slightly smaller face, so the feel when smashing is good and the shuttle speed gets quite high.

  • When I held it, I thought it might be a bit heavy, but it swings easily, and with this performance at this price, I'm thinking of buying another one. The feel is on the stiff side and the impact sound is a bit high-pitched, so if that doesn't bother you, it's worth buying!

  • Smashes were easy to hit, but my impression was that if you don't hit them hard, it may be hard to put power into them. Rather than "the smash is super strong!", it's more that the hold is good and the shuttle really carries.

  • At 4U, it felt like a racket that's easy to use not just for advanced players but also for intermediates. As you'd expect from a racket that touts "continuous smashes," it's easy to smash with, and it swings more easily than the VOLTRIC Z-FORCE II. I didn't feel much difference in hairpins or lobs...
