  • It feels like a fusion of the 8.0 and the 7.0.
    The shaft stiffness and head weight of the 8.0 with the face size of the 7.0.


    Like the 8.0, the shaft is stiff.
    That said, it feels like it's gotten a little milder.
    Even so, unless you can squeeze the grip at the moment of impact and have good grip strength, it's pretty tough to handle.

    For a box frame and a fairly large frame, both swing speed and maneuverability are quite good.

    As for the feel, it's nothing special.
    It holds the shuttle for an instant before repelling it. People who like that sensation might love it.

    Every racket in the GRAVITAS series has really great repulsion. When I first tried the 8.0, I was surprised at how strong the repulsion was.


    It's expensive and has its quirks. If you're thinking of buying this racket and the 7.0 felt good to you, you should try the 8.0 or 9.0.
    However, people who are used to the Z-SPEED or Z-STRIKE might be able to handle the 8.0 and 9.0 quite well.

    I've seen people say smashes get weaker because the face is bigger, but that's not how it works.

  • Since it's a 3U head-heavy racket, I thought it would be quite heavy, but it's not "that" heavy, and thanks to its distinctive aero frame shape, the swing speed isn't bad either.
    ...That said, overall, "there are better rackets out there, aren't there..."
    It might change if I try the other 96-hole and 86-hole models, but the feel is the best I've ever had.
    (More grommets make the feel harder, so I recommend stringing it 1 or 2 lbs lower than other rackets.)

  • Unlike the 70 and others, the AURASPEED is designed with an emphasis on "flex".

    The feel is that it repels the shuttle in a somewhat quirky way.
    I really like that.

    Swing speed is

    If you're a speed player but also a hard hitter, the AURASPEED 90K is a good choice.

    Its specs are quirky, but people who click with them will find it really great.

  • These are my impressions of the player model of this racket, the "FALCON TK",
    and honestly, it didn't impress me.
    At first I used BG66F, but I heard Tai Tzu-ying uses VBS-66N (a string similar to BG66UM), so I switched to BG66UM, and that was a mistake. The feel was meh, and it ended up feeling kind of vague. Maybe it was the stringer's fault...
    Smashes have both power and speed.


    Still, it's a racket the world's No. 2 brand by market share put everything into.
    It's worth trying, but from VICTOR, I personally liked the AURASPEED 90K and 90S better.
    I recommend it for people who are fairly confident in their strength.
