  • I bought it right after release.
    It was a racket that didn't suit me at all...
    No repulsion, no steep angle, can't put power into it... what's going on?

    A really good player in my club was interested too, so I let them try it, and their impression was the same as mine.
    I don't think the shaft stiffness and the head weight match.

    After hitting with it for about 3 hours, it went to an online auction.
    It was the worst, most unusable racket I've ever had.

    Recently it's been getting good reviews online; did something change from the early model?

  • The head is a bit heavy but not that heavy, so I think switching from an even balance won't be hard.
    However, the shaft and frame are quite stiff, and the sweet spot is pretty narrow too.
    As people say, if you hit the "sweet spot" you get a really satisfying shot, but that's only "if you can hit it"...
    If you miss, of course the shock comes straight through, and I think you could hurt your elbow, shoulder, wrist and so on.
    Naturally, if you don't hit it cleanly, the shot isn't stable and doesn't fly.
    To use it properly, I think even men need a fair amount of experience, good body mechanics and skill.

    I bought it after doing strength training for over a year to build up my body, intending to move to a slightly heavier, stiffer racket.
    My smashes got faster, and my receive seems to have improved too (according to my friends)

  • Maybe a good pick for those who aren't comfortable with head-heavy rackets but want better smashes?
    Just as advertised, the head really works! Even hitting lightly gives your smash a steep angle.
    It feels like the frame pushes the shuttle out.
    For smashes, I think you can hit better ones than with the 800.

    However, the feel is stiff! Both the shaft and frame are stiff...
    I think it's good for people with power.

    After restringing it 4 times, it broke at the point where the frame thickness changes.
    As rumored, it doesn't seem very strong.

  • I think it's an easy-to-use, even-balance racket with no quirks.

    Just as advertised, drives have good repulsion and are quite good!
    The shaft is on the stiff side, but the frame isn't that stiff, so there's no unpleasant stiffness when you hit.

    However, there's some vibration when hitting, like the old NS7000.
    People who are sensitive to it might find it bothersome?
    It didn't bother me in a bad way, so I was fine.

  • I bought it trusting its reputation. 3UG5
    Since it's a 7-series model, it's easy to use as an all-rounder.
    Contrary to its looks, it has no quirks.

    As for balance, I feel the weight around the middle of the shaft.
    At first, the racket itself felt heavier than I expected.
    The shaft flexes nicely to just the right degree, and it doesn't feel stiff.

    The good thing about using this racket is that I've become confident in my backhand drive.
    If you go for it, you can hit some pretty good ones.

    It's not a repulsion-type racket but a type that holds the shuttle, so people who like high-repulsion rackets might be a little dissatisfied.
    Even with a thin-gauge string, it doesn't have the repulsion of the NANORAY series.
