  • This is the model used by Ayaka Takahashi, well known from the 'Takamatsu pair.' It uses what's called the Dual Optimum System, which gives a completely different feel on the forehand and backhand; to put it simply, think of it as having a front and a back side. That said, I think it comes down to personal preference. Overall, it feels resilient with good repulsion.

  • I used to use a somewhat cheap racket, but when a teammate at my club bought a good one, I didn't want to be outdone, so I bought one too. You can really feel when you hit the sweet spot of the strings, and my shots feel sharp. It's an attacking racket, so definitely give it a try!

  • I play aggressively, so I wanted a good racket with power and bought this on the recommendation of a shop clerk.
As you'd expect from a good racket by a famous brand, my shots are stable and it generates power. The performance is on a whole different level from my previous racket. Recommended!

  • I played badminton when I was a student, and now as a working adult I'm practicing under a coach more seriously than I did back then.
Basically, I choose rackets that suit me.
I've settled on 'MIZUNO' as my brand.
The deciding factor is that I feel they think about and make rackets suited to Japanese players, which you don't see from other companies.
I like relatively stiff rackets, but when I think about control and speed, I always end up buying a racket with good overall balance.

  • I'm a beginner at badminton. At first I used a racket that cost around 3,000 yen from a sporting goods store. A friend bought a new racket and sold me the DUORA 7 they'd been using at a really low price. The DUORA 7 is a serious racket, and I was surprised at how much easier it was to use than what I had before. My control and the quality of my shots all changed, so much that I had the illusion I'd suddenly gotten better. The racket itself is light and very easy to use.
