  • Here's my introduction to the VOLTRIC Z-FORCE II badminton racket. The VOLTRIC Z-FORCE II is used by many pro players. In particular, it's head-heavy and the racket itself is stiff, so it's one I'd recommend to advanced players. Intermediate players can use it too, but it's a little heavy, so you need some strength; once you build that strength, the racket becomes easier to handle, your smashes get heavier, and I think it becomes easier to beat your opponent. Receiving is also easy, so I'd recommend it to attacking players who like to follow a hairpin with a smash. I think women can use it comfortably too, but 3U is heavy, so I recommend 4U like mine. Players of all ages can enjoy it, and I think you can get good results in tournaments with it.

  • The practice shuttle our club team uses is RSL's SHUTTLE FIGHTER. I think it's perfect for practice because it's very durable and also great value for money. It uses natural cork, so there's nothing to complain about in the feel or the flight. There's no variation between shuttles either; it's a good shuttle.

  • I started badminton at 10 and I'm now in my 15th year of playing. In my student days we used STANDARD II as our practice shuttle, and our whole club (10 people) would destroy 4-5 dozen new shuttles a day. Back then I had a chance to hit CLEAR I, and my impression was that it didn't fly as well as TRAINING and broke a little more easily. But since becoming a working adult I've gotten stronger and no longer need the distance of TRAINING, and since it's reasonably durable and relatively affordable, it's been very handy as a practice shuttle.

  • When I saw the NANORAY Z-SPEED at a shop, I fell in love with the design and ended up buying it. At first I bought it just for the looks, but when I actually used it, it turned out to be a really easy-to-use racket; the repulsion when hitting the shuttle feels good, and the small face makes it easy to swing. My smash speed has gone up compared to before. The only drawback is that it's pricier than other rackets.

  • I bought this racket based on online reviews. The performance is good for the price, and I really like that the control and maneuverability are good. I think it's a racket I can recommend both to first-timers and to people playing badminton in school clubs and the like!
