  • Its key feature is that it's lightweight and very easy to maneuver. At the same time, powerful shots are perfectly possible. I felt it's ideal for beginners and women, but I think intermediate players and above would be satisfied too. That said, it may be too light for power players. Control is also very easy, and its high all-round performance really stands out.

  • True to its name, the YONEX NANORAY Z-SPEED sends the shuttle off fast the moment you smash, so smashing feels great. Even as a woman I get speed on my smashes, so I mainly use it for mixed doubles.

  • This racket is pricier than others, and its practicality lives up to that. It's now my favorite racket, and when hitting with it, it felt like the one where my shots land most consistently in the same spot, so I think its stability is outstanding. It's not a racket for beginners.

  • This is the racket I'm using now, as someone who's still fairly new to badminton. Smashes and drives feel especially easy to hit. The racket itself is quite light, yet you can hit powerful shots, and the control is very good. Personally, I think it's easy to use even for beginners.

  • I'm using a YONEX racket called the DUORA 6. Above all, its appeal is the repulsion. Even when you hit lightly, the shuttle flies off with tremendous force. It's also quite light, so it's a great racket for someone like me who lacks power. If you're not confident in your strength, borrow the power of a good racket!
