  • I haven't been playing competitively for long, and I can't catch up with others unless I practice a lot, so I thought the first step was choosing a shuttle, and I chose this one.
    The quality is good, and even for someone like me who swings hard, it's perfect for practice. The weight variation between shuttles is small too, so it seems usable for competition as well.
    I practice 3 hours a day, and the shuttles are good and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

  • NEW OFFICIAL is the rank just below TOURNAMENT, and is likewise a Grade 1 approved shuttle. It's cheaper than TOURNAMENT, but its flight and durability are very good. It's the kind of shuttle that makes you think this is the standard for a shuttle. I also recommend it for pre-match practice.

  • I usually practice with feather shuttles, but I'll write my impressions from using nylon shuttles. They're completely different from feather shuttles. Badminton is a sport of fine touch, but you can't get that with nylon shuttles. The advantage is that they don't break so you can use them forever, so I think they're perfect when you've just started badminton or for drills where you simply chase down the shuttle.

  • TOURNAMENT is a shuttle used in official matches too, so it's relatively expensive. But I think this is how a shuttle is really supposed to fly. The durability is excellent too, and even after they get dirty from match practice, you can often still use them for basic drills and feeding drills. I recommend using them for pre-match practice.

  • AEROSENSA 700 is the successor to HIGHCLEAR. It's cheaper than TOURNAMENT, but performance-wise it's not much different from TOURNAMENT, so it's the perfect shuttle for pre-match practice. As you'd expect, its durability is far better than cheap shuttles.
