  • What I'm using in matches now is the MIZUNO LUMINASONIC IF. I use it with an emphasis on swing speed so I can handle long rallies. It's light and has good maneuverability, so it handles high-speed rallies well too. On top of that, it's maneuverable, and I like that I can respond quickly with smashes and follow-ups.

  • As a badminton beginner, I asked people around me about the relatively cheap ones on sale, and they told me this racket is more than enough for a beginner, so I chose it. It's easy to use with no problems at all, so rather than buying an overly expensive racket at the start, I'd recommend that beginners use this racket first.

  • I'm currently using GOSEN NEO FEATHER DIAMOND as my go-to match shuttle. I think the quality itself is very well made. The natural cork gives a great feel and the shuttle flies very pleasantly when you hit it. I really like how stable the flight is. The durability is also excellent.

  • The shuttles I used before were nice and cheap, but feathers came off, the flight was unstable, and every shuttle was different, so they were useless for practice. NEW OFFICIAL, on the other hand, is on the fairly expensive side compared to cheap shuttles, but it's sturdily made and very durable, so it hardly wears out even in long practice sessions. So I actually think it's good value for money. I can't feel any difference between individual shuttles and the feel is excellent, so I'm very satisfied.

  • Since my school days I've been the one in charge of managing shuttlecocks, and for shuttles that need a certain level of quality even in practice, I've long used GOSEN shuttles.
    That's because there's very little variation from lot (tube) to lot.
    If you rate an official match shuttle at 100 points, my impression is that YONEX practice shuttles come with a mix of roughly "75 to 85 point" shuttles in each tube, whereas GOSEN practice shuttles were packed solid with 80-point shuttles.
    The adult club I recently joined uses imported shuttles from overseas (1,200 yen per tube), which seemed to vary quite a bit, so I suggested we try buying GOSEN shuttles.
    I actually wanted to compare practice shuttles, but the nearby shop didn't have any in stock, so I bought a slightly higher-grade shuttle called "NEO FEATHER TOPAZ."
    My impression was that it doesn't carry quite as far, but not to a level that really bothered me.
