  • This racket costs in the 20,000 yen range, so it's wasted on beginners, but compared with other rackets it has a solid hitting feel and is satisfying to use. It's also on the light side and you can swing it quickly and smoothly, so I've been able to hit fast, accurate shots.

  • It's a racket well suited to an aggressive approach. It's easy to fire off precisely aimed smashes, and the grip is stable, so maneuverability is very good. It's also highly durable, and I feel being able to keep using it with confidence for a long time is another plus.

  • Of all the rackets I've used, the YONEX B4000 fits my hand far better than any other and became like part of my body; in less than a week, I'd come to trust it.

  • It's head-heavy, so it feels heavy. But I think it suits people who have strength and hit power smashes. It lets you hit heavy smashes with real power behind them.
Also, the shaft is very thin, so the swing speed is outstanding.

  • I mainly use it for matches, and since it keeps flying stably and its axis doesn't wobble, I can hit smashes exactly as I intend. It tends to carry a long way, so I feel another characteristic is that it is a little unsuited to close-range exchanges. For its high price, the durability falls short.
