On an old ASTROX 77 at 25 lbs.
Apart from durability, it's top-class.
Smashes really fly, and it feels great to hit.
Of course other shots are good too. Since it's hard, you get direct feedback, and the release is just right, so it's easy to control.As for durability, maybe because it uses Vectran and doesn't stretch or flex easily, it's fairly low. I especially get the impression it's prone to breaking at the bottom when you miss the sweet spot. If you hit consistently, I think it'll last a fair while.
By the way, apparently Lin Dan used BG80 even when he was sponsored by Li-Ning. He reportedly used various strings, so probably not all the time, though.

Maybe because it doesn't look impressive on the string spec parameters (YONEX's 10-level ratings), nobody around me uses it, but it's super easy to use.
I string it on an ASTROX 88D (discontinued) at 24 lbs.
I've also used ABBT, which is close on the spec chart, but the feel is quite different.
With ABBT, the main strings are stiffer, and it takes more effort to hit clears and such deep. BG80 pockets too, but it has better repulsion than ABBT, so it's easier to handle. Control is no problem either; it simply carries the shuttle along with your swing.
I recommend it for male players who want to hit hard but find ABBT too stiff and tiring (like me).Overall Repulsion Endurance Sound Shock absorption Control

Used on ASTROX 99 and VOLTRIC 80 E-tune at 26 lbs
My impression is it's a string you hardly ever see, like "Does anyone else actually use this?"
String characteristics below
The feel is on the hard side and doesn't seem to absorb shock, so it resonates pretty directly through your body.
There's no pocketing feel, so it feels like the exact opposite of FORCE.
So if you don't hit the sweet spot properly, you can't even get a lob up.Smash: Really carries
Cut: Being on the hard side, it's easy to tell how much the string is biting on cuts
Hairpin: High net-in rateMight pair well with rackets whose shafts aren't too stiff
Recommended for people who can control their power and hit the sweet spot
