    Specs and features: The keyword is LOUDNESS*!! In G-TONE 5, the "G" stands for GOSEN and "TONE" means sound: the name declares that this is the sound of GOSEN. The "5" comes from the last digit of its 0.65mm gauge. A high-pitched sound is proof of high repulsion, and the vast majority of badminton players want that high-pitched sound. After relentless research into a high, metallic hitting sound and two years of development, GOSEN released G-TONE 9 (0.69mm) in March 2014 to high acclaim. G-TONE 5 is the long-awaited model that takes both the pitch and the snap even further. The sound at impact (frequency) reaches about 5 kHz, and its loudness density (Sone/Bark, a unit that converts sound frequency into the loudness people actually perceive) is about 50% higher than comparable-gauge strings from other manufacturers (based on GOSEN testing).       I string it on an INFERNO and go all GOSEN.
      I string it at around 25, and the sound is just a little lower than Brand Y's BG65 TITANIUM at the same tension
      What I particularly like about this string is the light repulsion you feel at impact on power shots
      Combined with the INFERNO's stiff shaft and light swing, it feels like the string's strengths are emphasized

      I bought it because I heard the sound was great and strung it at 30 lbs, but
      the sound it's marketed on left me going "?".
      * 66UM, as with BGXB65, seems to have more of a metallic sound

      Also, it seems to be compared with 66UM, but I feel it's closer to BG80.
      If you're choosing for durability, I think it's fine, but
      I thought it's better not to buy it looking for a metallic sound.

      Jay （Experience：2-3 years） Repulsion + high pitch + durability! When in doubt, this one

      A dream string that combines 66UM and 61AS with the durability of NBG95. Thanks to its color variety and performance, 90% of the kids at our club use 66UM, but they break it really often and I get tons of requests to restring each time, which is a pain. If you don't care about color, I don't think there's a better string than this. First and most important: it doesn't break! Honestly, it breaks less than NBG95 (my opinion). So does it have the low repulsion and low pitch typical of durable strings? No, its performance is somewhere between ULTIMAX and AEROSONIC, and it feels awesome. It reliably lasts the 3 months said to be the minimum standard for restringing, so it's very economical too, highly recommended.

      Satokoko （Experience：2-3 years） Might be better than YONEX

      Compared with ULTIMAX, I personally felt this one has better sound, repulsion, and durability. I play badminton about 3 times a week, and it lasts 2 months at the shortest and 4 to 5 months at the longest. Even so, tension loss is small, so I felt it offers excellent cost performance.
