    User Review SummaryAI Summary
Standard 2 is highly evaluated as a practice shuttlecock with excellent cost performance, though multiple reviews note that its flight characteristics differ from official shuttles, making it unsuitable for pre-match training. Its durability and consistency are its main strengths.
    ■ Frequently mentioned points
    • Outstanding cost-performance for practice use
    • Minimal variation between individual shuttles
    • Excellent durability and longevity
    • Lighter and more flight-friendly than official shuttles
    • Stable flight characteristics suitable for beginners
    ■ Representative voices
▲ PositiveAs Yonex's standard product, it offers high quality at a reasonable price. Excellent durability allows approximately 2 shuttles per game. An outstanding practice shuttlecock that can be used for many years.
▽ CriticalStandard II flies lighter than official shuttles, so it's better to avoid using it in pre-match practice. During match practice, it breaks easily and may not be suitable for polishing match-level techniques.

      Middle School Student (Experience:2-3 years) A go-to

      STANDARD 2 is relatively cheap,
and I think it's quite durable too.
There are no particular problems using it in junior high boys' matches. For practice, it's the go-to shuttle

      TOMO (Experience:6-10 years)

I used it when I played on my own at the local gym back in high school. Among relatively cheap shuttles, the quality is quite high, so I bought it again. If you're torn among shuttles under 2,500 yen, I recommend this one.

Aaron (Experience:11-20 years) Just like the name says

It's the shuttle my club uses the most.
As the name says, it's a standard product, but it's YONEX's standard, so I think the quality is very high compared to others.
I've never been dissatisfied using it.
Considering the quality, I don't think the price is high either.

James Bond (Experience:2-3 years) Just plain average

Average is best. STANDARD is average in every respect. It's durable, so it feels like about 2 shuttles per game is enough.

      Shujimtgucci A common shuttle

You see it a lot, and I often use it as a practice shuttle. It's cheap, but the quality is fairly high. It's durable too, so I think it's good for match-style practice.

Taa-san How STANDARD 2 feels to use

I've been using YONEX STANDARD 2 as my practice shuttle for years.
Cheap shuttles tend to have feathers that get damaged quickly or uneven quality, but this one is durable, and I appreciate that every shuttle feels the same.

      SYOKICHI (Experience:11-20 years)

It is a shuttle that is handy for practice.
It is economical too, and suits circles and clubs.
If you choose the wrong speed number (temperature rating), there is quite a difference in flight, but as long as you are careful about that, it is perfectly usable.
