NO.1 Badminton review site

Because I'm weak at receiving and wanted a stiffer racket, I moved over from the standard (original) ASTROX 77.
My first impression was that it's easy to put spin on net shots. And since the balance is even, it felt quite a bit lighter than the 77 even though they're both 4U. In addition to net shots, receiving also became easier, so I really feel the benefit of switching.
The smashes I was worried about at first didn't really bother me. Even with a bit less weight behind them, the solidity of the racket itself lets you hit pretty good ones. With clears too, as long as you swing a bit more consciously yourself rather than relying on the racket's weight to send it like with the ASTROX, there's no problem.
I use it for both, but if I had to say doubles or singles, it's tuned for doubles. A rear-court type like me can use it with no problems at all, but its true value comes out when front-court, or rather control-type, players use it.
I think it's among the fairly easy-to-use rackets for advanced players, but as a guideline, I think it's best to use it after you've been playing for 4 or 5 years.

What I noticed most the first time I used it was how incredibly well net shots grab the shuttle. Receiving got a bit easier too, which I think is thanks to its selling points: face stability and hold. The slight worry I had about smashes at first didn't really bother me.

As a model for advanced players, I think it's on the easier-to-use side, but as a guideline, I think you can get its full performance once you've played badminton for 5 years or more.

I borrowed a friend's 4U5 strung with EXBOLT at 23 lbs and tried it, and it's surprisingly easy to use. That friend uses it for both singles and doubles. If you've been playing badminton for 2 or 3+ years, it might be a good choice

The ARCSABER series is known for excellent rackets that even beginners to intermediate players can handle easily. Being a PRO model, this one easily withstands power players, but if anything, it brings out more of its performance in the hands of advanced technique- and control-oriented players. I gave it as a gift to a player who's good at solid, stable drives and smashes as well as techniques like spin and cuts, and they became even more refined, so much so that they're now unstoppable when you play against them. Having not changed rackets for years, they were very happy that their skills improved even more.

Above all, the face stability is outstanding. Receiving is very easy, and it's easy to swing too.
Not too heavy, not too stiff, and very easy to handle.
I especially recommend this one to players who focus on rallies.
However, because it has the hold that's typical of the PRO series, the heaviness of smashes may feel slightly lacking.
