    User Review SummaryAI Summary
A highly acclaimed racket that continues to be supported three years after release. While initially feeling difficult to use, its true potential is revealed through practice, leading many users to abandon other rackets due to its exceptional overall quality.
    ■ Frequently mentioned points
    • Excellent swing-through performance from unique frame shape
    • Superior maneuverability for receives and drives
    • Versatile coverage of all types of shots
    • Increasing appeal the more it is used
    • More affordable pricing than Yonex products
    ■ Representative voices
▲ PositiveThough initially awkward, after hours to months of use it feels like the racket follows your body. Its excellent swing-through, lightness, and superior control become prominent. Once used, other rackets become unnecessary due to its overall excellence.
▽ CriticalThe racket didn't rebound, shuttles didn't drop, and power didn't transfer well. The shaft stiffness and head weight seemed mismatched.

Middle-aged Badminton Player (Experience:11-20 years) GOSEN after a long time 2

All my rackets were old ones over 10 years old, so after hearing the buzz I bought this together with the INFERNO EX. As the manufacturer states, this one is more even-balanced than the EX, and the racket itself is lighter. I can't tell you about the shaft stiffness. Sorry. I don't think either of them is that stiff. The racket itself is truly an all-rounder. But hard hitters who just bash away might find it lacking. It feels like a racket for technical players who use the swing speed and lightness to control the face, a racket for experienced players. That said, you could also call it a racket for everyone. In other words, getting the most out of the racket is up to the player.

Zawa (Experience:More than 20 years) The best in over 20 years

Both the stiffness and the weight feel just right.
Smashes dip sharply, and on receives and drive returns the head moves quickly so I can make clean returns. It's the best racket I've ever used.

    • Racket benkei

Racket benkei (Experience:6-10 years) The best racket with great balance

Brand new it was 16,000 yen, or 18,000 yen including strings and everything. What it has over YONEX, which completely dominates badminton, is that it's cheap, and the performance is top-notch, but
if I had to be critical, it doesn't have the power of ASTROX or VOLTRIC
However, thanks to its good-looking special frame, it has swing speed and maneuverability on par with NANOFLARE, and you can hit fairly powerful smashes like with ARCSABER 11.
Above all, this racket is head-heavy leaning toward even balance and the shaft flexes moderately, so driven clears and high clears go deep with quite little effort
You can also put an angle on your smash on par with ASTROX
Personally, I think it's really, no, perfectly suited to people who use forearm pronation well and can rally solidly in singles
In doubles too, the swing speed and maneuverability are incredibly good, so drives and receives are easy

    • Kagaya Ubuyashiki

      Kagaya Ubuyashiki (Experience:6-10 years) A well-balanced racket

I've used the ASTROX 88S and 77, and while it doesn't have the destructive smash power of the ASTROX, the INFERNO is better for shots like drives, clears, and receives
It's extremely easy to swing, so maneuverability is good, and since it's head-heavy but close to even, it covers all kinds of shots at a high level. What surprised me most is that, as others have commented, it's still enthusiastically supported three years after release. I've been using it for half a year, and I don't think I'll switch to another racket for about three years. It's that good of a racket

    • All GOSEN

All GOSEN (Experience:6-10 years) Still popular even after three years

18,000 yen including stringing. It's about 4,000 yen cheaper than YONEX, and personally I think it's better in every respect than YONEX's ASTROX and NANOFLARE
It's been three years since release, and it's surprising that in 2019 there are still several reviews in the same month
There seem to be spin-offs of the INFERNO like the LITE and PLUS, but I don't think anything beats the original. The shaft is moderately soft, and clears fly easily. If you can make good use of forearm pronation, you can hit top-quality shots with a compact swing, and it's the best racket for drive exchanges and receive battles in doubles
Also, it can't match the powerful smashes of a YONEX ASTROX, but if you can pronate properly, you can definitely make the shuttle dip more than with models like the YONEX ASTROX. As other people have commented, once you get hooked on this racket, it's so easy to use that you won't need rackets from other lines

    • GOSEN Devotee

GOSEN Devotee (Experience:11-20 years) After buying this racket, I don't need any other rackets

This racket is a bit cheaper than YONEX, and it beats YONEX rackets in every respect
After buying it, I sold everything on Mercari and bought six of this racket
There's the ASTROX 88, 99, the NANOFLARE and so on
but using this racket, I have zero desire to cheat on it with another
That's how good it is in every respect
I want people to pay more attention to GOSEN
GOSEN shoes are made by ASICS as a subcontractor, so check those out too
      They're really good
The apparel has much better design than YONEX and outstanding functionality
      Take a look online once
You'll get hooked on GOSEN too
And your body will be covered head to toe in GOSEN

Yonex Boycott Enthusiast (Experience:11-20 years) Stop buying only YONEX

      I'll keep it short
You can hit godlike shots in every respect
YONEX may reign at the top of the world, but
      don't abandon Team GOSEN
We have the potential to stand up to them too
Plus it's a Japanese company 'YONEX is Japanese too'
Buy this, and the god called GOSEN
will lead you down the path to victory
