  • You admire top-of-the-line rackets, but they're over-spec and you can't handle them.
    For exactly those people, what I'd like to recommend is
    this ASTROX 100ZX
    First, the color is dark navy, the same as the 100ZZ, but the color scheme of the design differs in places.
    From a distance you can't tell them apart.

    First, cuts: I expected a springy, repulsion-type feel, but it actually has a feel of biting into the shuttle.
    For pushes, the racket head comes through quickly so it felt quite easy to hit, though I found it a bit hard to get an angle.
    For clears, I felt the ease of hitting that's unique to ASTROX.
    Smashes are easy to hit, but my impression was more "easy to hit repeatedly" than "hard hitting."
    What I personally like is that it doesn't feel as demanding as the previous Z series.
    The Z series gives a bold impression like "Try and master this racket!", but
    the grip is a bit longer, so you can hold the racket short, which let me handle receives and maneuvering at the front court.

    My personal take is that intermediate to advanced players can handle it without any problem.

  • The head-light NANOFLARE 1000Z is easy to swing, so it's easier to react to your opponent's fast smashes. Since you don't swing late and can go for counters, I had more time on the receive. Also, thanks to the stiff shaft, it's easy to return fast smashes quickly and hard for the opponent to keep attacking, so I felt it's a racket that easily brings rallies into your favor. I also felt drives really carry well. However, for smashes, you can hit strong, impactful shots, but I felt it's hard to get a steep angle. So I felt this racket isn't suited for singles players or rear court players in doubles. But at the front court the racket is very maneuverable, and I'd recommend it.

  • The shaft is flexible and the balance is even, so the racket is easy to swing, and the flexible shaft lets you hit shots with good carry, so I recommend it for beginners to intermediate players.

    With its even balance, it's not only easy to swing but also has excellent control, one of the hallmarks of the ARCSABER line.

    Because the shaft is flexible, I think even people without much strength can easily hit clears to the back of the court.

    So you can control the shuttle all over the court, and since it's a well-balanced racket, I feel it's great at handling all kinds of situations.

    I recommend it for people without much muscle strength or who aren't used to handling the shuttle yet, but stronger players may find the smash speed a little lacking.
