  • Unlike in the past, rackets these days have strong characteristics, for better or worse, so it's gotten harder to find one that suits you. (I feel like back then there were lots of rackets that worked for everyone, like the CAB8, CAB18 and CAB20)
    Anyway, after trying various rackets, I've settled on the DUORA 7 for singles. I'm a middle-aged male player, and I think the DUORA 7 is well balanced. The head balance is neutral, the shaft isn't too stiff but definitely isn't soft either, the forehand side has solid repulsion, and on the backhand side you can really feel how easy it is to swing, so I can't find any weaknesses. If I had to name one, for a man it's that you can't string it at a high tension.
