  • This racket helped me a lot around my first year. I really like it.
    It's head-heavy, but it leans toward even balance, so the head doesn't feel that heavy. The shaft is very soft. Because of that, control is very good and the feel is soft. On the other hand, the downsides are that the shaft is too soft, so drives are hard to hit (it flexes a lot before impact, so it's hard to make clean contact), and the feel isn't the repelling kind.
    However, for beginners who don't have strength yet and aren't used to it, it's very easy to use, and clears fly easily, so I highly recommend it.

  • I used the 4U in both the full-parts version and a version with only the lower parts attached. The weight barely changes, but the center of gravity seems to shift, and when swinging, the head feels more effective with the upper parts attached. Still, since the weight is almost the same, the power probably won't change that much. You should decide which parts to attach and how based on which feels easier for you to swing.
    In terms of swing and maneuverability, it's inevitably quite inferior to current rackets, so that's probably this racket's weakness.
    However, the weight and stiffness are just right (not too heavy, not too stiff), and the resulting feel and control are quite good.
