  • This is my review of the 4UG5 strung with 66 FORCE at 26 lbs.

    Smash
    The way shots hit on the sweet spot carry is tremendous.
    Rather than pushing through with heavy shots, it's a smash that pierces with razor-sharp bite.

    Clear
    The sweet spot is wide and the repulsion is good, so it's easy to send the shuttle to the back line even when you're off balance.

    Drive
    Good maneuverability and repulsion make it easy to control, and you can hit firmly to the course you aim for.

    Cut / Drop
    It's not especially easy to hit, but it transmits the feel properly to your hand, so control is easy.

    Lob / Receive
    The grip is long and the shaft is short, so it's a bit hard to hit until you get used to it.

    Net shot
    There's no weird catching or popping up from too much repulsion, so control is on the easy side.

    Summary
    My impression is that it's a racket with extremely high overall marks for every shot.
    I think it's basically for men, but women who can swing through properly should be able to master it too.

  • This is my review with LI-NING No.1 at 25 lbs.
    It feels heavy in the hand, but it swings really well
    .

    Smash
    It has incredible repulsion and is solidly head-heavy, so tremendous shots come flying off it.
    It feels great just to hit, so I'd like even people who aren't good at smashing to try it.

    Clear
    The repulsion is incredible, so just focusing on your form and making contact sends it easily to the back of the court.

    Drive
    The repulsion is so good that you can power through, but it's head-heavy, so maneuverability isn't great.

    Cut / Drop
    Opponents are wary of the smash power, so these are quite effective, but because of the strong repulsion, the shuttle tends to go long unless you control the racket carefully.

    Lob / Receive
    As long as your form is solid, the racket does the rest and sends it on its own, so it's quite easy to hit.

    Hairpin
    If you don't hit with careful attention, it tends to float, so it's hard to hit until you get used to it.

    Summary
    It just has tons of repulsion.
    Even from a tough situation, it's easy to seize a split-second opening and switch to attack, so I recommend it for people who just want to attack.
    It's 4U, but it's quite head-heavy, so it's very tiring.

  • This is my review of the G6 strung with SKYARC at 20 lbs.
    Your evaluation will change completely depending on whether your form is solid or not.

    Smash
    It's a lightweight racket, but it's head-heavy, so it's easy to hit.
    However, the shaft is on the soft side, and combined with the light weight, it's hard to make smashes go down steeply, and they don't have much power.

    Clear
    You can't rely on the racket's power, so if your form isn't solid, it's hard to reach the back.

    Drive
    Maneuverability is excellent, so it's extremely strong in drive battles.

    Cut / Drop
    You can move the racket freely, so they're very easy to hit.

    Lob / Receive
    Maneuverability is good, so you can handle most shots, but if you can't flex the shaft with proper form in mind, your returns tend to be short.

    Net shot
    The racket is light, so with a sloppy stroke or form, the face tends to wobble and shots can go wild.

    Summary
    It's very light, so it widens your range of play compared to usual and lets you do all sorts of things.
    It's easy to maneuver, so beginners might be tempted to choose it, but it's really a racket for intermediate players with solid fundamentals.

  • These are my impressions of the NANOGY 98 at 22 lbs
    It demands a lot of concentration on every single shot.
    If you play carelessly, it gives you nothing back at all.
    In the sense of developing players, it's a good racket.

    Smash
    It's very easy to swing, so you can hit sharp smashes even with a compact swing.

    Clear
    The head is light, so to hit a clear from the back line all the way to the back, you need to concentrate and make impact on the sweet spot.

    Drive
    If you can squeeze the grip properly at the moment of impact, sharp shots fly out even with a compact swing.

    Cut/Drop
    With the compact frame and how demanding it is, they're not easy to hit.

    Lob/Receive
    Maneuverability is excellent so it's easy to retrieve shots, but if you miss the sweet spot even slightly, your returns end up short.

    Hairpin
    The good maneuverability really shines.
    It's easy to mix things up, like adding feints or deliberately hitting off the sweet spot to take pace off the shot.

    Summary
    If you rely on brute force or try to depend on the racket, it gives you nothing back.
    Once you can master this racket, you'll be stepping into intermediate level, so I recommend it to junior high and high school students who are thinking, "I'm going to get serious about badminton from now on!"
