  • I thought it might be like YONEX's NANO line, but judging from the frame shape, it seems more like a VOLTRIC. When you swing it without hitting, it makes a low, fairly loud whoom. It swings easily. It feels like a 4U VOLTRIC 80 series racket made more even-balanced and sharper.

    It does pocket the shuttle, but it doesn't have that heavy, digging-in feel of the ARCSABER; the shuttle sinks in and leaves right away.
    I think it's great for receives and fast exchanges. It resists twisting and the face doesn't wobble, which is good. You can take the shuttle high and keep pressing forward.
    It can't be helped since it's 4U, but hard hits don't carry that well, and you can tell long smashes lose speed.
    The shaft is on the stiff side, so if your wrist is strong, clears and lobs will go reasonably far even with just your arm.
    For net shots, the slight weight in the head keeps the face stable and makes them easy to control.
    For me, it's a men's-doubles-only racket.

    It's my first MIZUNO, and it was so good that I'm thinking about trying other models.

  • The head weight is really effective, so shots travel farther than expected. Because of that, judging distance on connecting shots and controlling clears, drops, and receives was difficult, and at first it felt hard to handle. The face is extremely stable, and the shuttle just flies off as long as you make contact, so much that the sweet spot hardly matters.
    This racket's true strength is hard hitting. It's 4U, but it carries the power of a head-heavy 3U, and the hold is good too, so you can feel the shuttle getting squashed, which feels great.
    I think it suits play like Ahsan and Setiawan's: spread the shuttle around with hard hits and let your partner finish, or let the front court player attack and then put away loose lifts with a hard hit.
    It seems good for singles too.
    I think it's a racket that deserves more recognition.

  • It was an extremely specialized racket that let you smash as fast as the Z-SPEED.
    The balance is close to even, the repulsion is just great, and there's almost no hold.
    The feel had that plasticky, crisp snap typical of VICTOR.
    I normally use 3U, but for this racket I used 4U. Maneuverability felt heavy.
    I think it's a good racket, which explains why many people kept using it even after the JETSPEED 12 came out back then.

  • Before the last Olympics, many Korean national team players kept using this racket even when new ones came out, so I got curious and bought it.

    To cut to the chase, it's a masterpiece. Above all, the repulsion is great and the initial speed is really fast. When it clicks in doubles, it feels amazing.
    It's 3U, but I don't really feel the weight when handling it. The balance is good. No wonder everyone uses it.

    VICTOR's recent rackets have a plastic-like feel that's crisp and too hard, but this racket feels closer to the Japanese makers.
    Its most distinctive feature is that the corners of the face (diamond-shaped) are pointed. Even more pointed than the back side of the DUORA.
    People say the back side of the DUORA is springy, but because I'd used this racket first, it didn't seem that special to me. That's how springy this one is. On top of that, you can put enough weight on the shuttle to push it, so the shuttle really travels.

    By the way, this racket makes a higher-pitched sound than its string tension would suggest.
    Also, the grommets wear out quickly.

  • The head is on the small side and the shaft is stiff, so it feels similar to the Z-FORCE, but the control is mediocre.
    The power on hard hits is amazing, but it doesn't fly that far, and it was hard to get a feel for. The balance wasn't very good.
    If I remember right, the Tricky Panders were using Babolat back then, but this racket wasn't chosen? Kazuno also switched to the SATELITE as soon as it came out.
