  • Misaki Matsutomo's model racket
    5U, head-heavy, with a rather flexible shaft
    The feel is quite soft, and compared with the previous FIERCE series, it doesn't seem as springy.
    The face is very stable, and even though the shaft is soft and flexes, the face doesn't wobble, so you can place the shuttle exactly where you aim.
    I don't know if the way the shaft flexes is thanks to EX-ZONE, but unlike other rackets it takes time to get used to, and once you do, it becomes a racket that feels just right.
    Rather than aggressive play, I think it's ideal for moving the shuttle around in rallies and creating chances in doubles.
    Since it's a light 5U racket with a soft shaft, my impression is that I can't recommend it to male players, hard hitters, or people who can't yet hit the sweet spot consistently.

  • This is a review of the N7II before the name change.
    The description says head-light, but it's actually slightly head-heavy, with a stiff shaft
    A head-heavy racket with a stiff shaft and very strong repulsion is a category you'd expect YONEX to have, but it doesn't
    The model racket of Zhang Nan, China's doubles genius
    It swings so easily you wouldn't think it's head-heavy.
    Since it's a springy racket, it pairs well with a firmer string.
    It's springy and easy to swing, so I recommend it for doubles players.

  • The model used by the legendary Fu Haifeng
    This is a review of the N9II before the name change. It's 3U and slightly head-heavy, but it swings easily so it doesn't feel heavy. The shaft is normal, and it's a racket that uses its flex to send the shuttle
    Repulsion is good too, and it strikes me as a racket for doubles players, but since the shaft flexes, I wouldn't really recommend it to people who like stiff rackets or who are good at flat, low rallies.
    Personally, it makes the shuttle easy to control, so it's one of my favorites.

  • 3U, slightly head-light, with a normal shaft
    It doesn't strike me as especially springy, just very normal
    The sweet spot feels narrow, but if you catch it squarely in the center you can hit stable shots.
    You can't hit good shots with just your arm.
    Because it's simple, my impression is that it really shows the skill of the person using it.
