  • I bought it right after it was imported into Japan.
    The Badonavi page says head-light, but isn't it even balance?
    And for even balance, I can feel a bit of weight in the head.
    Maybe thanks to the hollow design it swings fast, and the shaft is about one cap's length shorter than YONEX's 10 mm Long (the grip is longer), so I think it's good for the front court in doubles.
    You can hit powerful shots from the rear court too, but it doesn't feel like the racket carries the shot for you, so you need a decent swing speed.
    Because of that, I think clears are hard to hit deep when you're under pressure.

    - Easy to swing
    - Hard hits with your own power go straight into the shuttle
    - Short shaft makes receiving easier

    [Cons]
    - If you apply power the wrong way, it won't reach the back
    - People who hold near the cap may find the long grip hard to get used to
    - Vibration from hitting easily travels to the arm

  • Using the 3U
    It's head-heavy, but the thin shaft makes it easy to use even in the front court in doubles.
    The feel is close to the Z-STRIKE, but it's easier to use for receiving and the like.
    Even consecutive smashes, even when my posture is off balance, carry well, and the feel is satisfying.
    YONEX's racket selector lists it as head-heavy with a stiff shaft, but the shaft feels like it flexes more than I expected.
    I think the shaft flexes on full-swing shots, while on delicate shots the shaft's stiffness comes through as is.

    [Pros]
    - Smashes are quite easy to hit
    - Hairpins are consistent too
    - No feeling of the racket being pushed back by the shuttle; it holds the shuttle firmly
    - Usable all-round for singles, doubles, front court and rear court

    [Cons]
    - Heavy for women
    - Once fatigue builds up and your swing speed drops, it suddenly becomes hard to handle
    - I'm not a big fan of the design (the fluorescent orange part looks flat and shiny...)

  • It's head-heavy, but you can move it around more like an even-balance racket.
    My impression is that if you just make contact, it flies. Hard hits like smashes have tremendous power when you catch them right.
    I think smashes tend to carry. If you want dipping smashes, the ASTROX 99 suits you better.
    Backhands are easy, and whether you swing through or just flick it, the shuttle flies nicely.
    If the racket feels heavy, I think the DUORA 10 is a good choice.

    - Smashes are heavy and hold their speed when you catch them right
    - Can be used all-round

    - Not suited to women or children
    - Shots where you take power off may be difficult
    - Since the front and back are fixed, the grip wears in one spot and needs replacing often

  • Since many pro players use this racket, I got curious and tried it, and it swings smoothly and lets you hit clears and the like without any resistance.
    It does not feel hollow when you hit; the feel is just right, and it is a pleasure to hit with.
    I usually prefer head-heavy rackets, but this made me think head-light is not bad either.

    The thin frame looks cool, but I am a little worried about its strength.
    Apart from that, it is a very good racket.
    It is a racket anyone can use. Power players might find it lacking?

    ○ Pros
    - You can hit clears and smashes easily and the shuttle flies
    - On receives, as long as you make contact you can return it reasonably well even on a mishit, and it is easy to control

    ● Cons
    - The frame breaks easily (watch out for clashing rackets)
    - The shots are not heavy and sinking (more of a sharp, piercing feel)

  • Simply put, this racket is stiff and heavy.
    I don't recommend it for beginners, junior high students, or people without much strength.

    A junior high student I know bought it and soon switched back to their old racket because it was too heavy.
    If you like head-heavy rackets, have the strength, and want to hit satisfying smashes, I recommend it.
    In exchange, you need footwork that gets you into a solid position. Returning shots when you get jammed is really tough (sweat)

    - You can hit heavy smashes
    - Face stability from the head-heavy balance
    - Shots in front of your body can be hit powerfully
    - Even brute-force play works out to some extent

    [Cons]
    - Can't keep up on receives or when you get jammed
    - Heavy and tiring
    - Only a limited number of people can handle it
