  • Until now, whenever I played badminton, I'd only ever used rackets meant for casual play, so when I tried this racket (ASTROX 77), I was surprised at how light it was. It was a first-time experience where I started to realize that a light racket is easier to swing.

  • The SATELITE 6.5 LITE is just so light! And the swing speed is outstanding! I've used YONEX rackets for over 10 years, but I don't think any YONEX racket swings this easily. I never felt that being light hurt its maneuverability, so I think the balance is really good. I think it's especially good for doubles players. Singles players will also get stronger on shots close to the body, since it swings easily and the head is light.

  • The NANORAY Z-SPEED, and the NANORAY series in general, I personally use quite a lot. When you hit it squarely on the face it makes a nice sound, and it's an easy racket to move with.
    Even when I'm pulled to all kinds of positions, front and back, the racket's maneuverability is good, so it's easy to control and vary the pace.
    It might be because it matches my strength, but I think it's a racket that allows fine control.

  • This racket made me realize how important weight balance is. The VOLTRIC 70 E-TUNE.
    The weight is toward the tip of the face, so when you hit cleanly on the face,
    your smash power goes up.
    For cuts, drives and so on, something a little lighter is easier to react with,
    but if you're going attack-focused, it's a perfectly usable racket. It's been helpful in my mixed doubles matches.

  • In my regular badminton practice, I often tried out long-lasting shuttles for practice use. There are lots of manufacturers out there, but GOSEN NEO FEATHER OPAL flies on a stable trajectory and is durable too. The feathers don't fray easily, and when it's new, if it hits the string bed cleanly it sounds just like a good shuttle. However, as a practice shuttle it doesn't last all that long. It's a shuttle that feels really good when smashing during basic rallying.
