  • When I use cheap shuttles I just end up having to keep buying more, so lately I've been using shuttles that perform well and last long, even if they're a bit more expensive. They come off the racket steadily and I can hit them through on the trajectory I imagine, which is really great.

  • These days, many shuttles have plastic instead of waterfowl feathers.
    I find this YONEX Feather CYBERTEC 01 really easy to hit, and I love how satisfying it feels when I hit it.
    When I see the feathers getting more ragged day by day, it makes me feel like I've worked that hard in practice.

  • Of all YONEX shuttles, this is the one I use most often. There's little variation from shuttle to shuttle, and they're all neatly made. They fly with little wobble, spinning smoothly as they go. The durability is good too. It's a shuttle that makes you say, "That's YONEX for you."

  • I've bought all sorts of rackets, but when it comes to shuttles, this is the only one I use. It works for both practice and matches, with plenty of carry and power. It's also very durable, so I like it in terms of value for money too.

  • I mainly use it for practice, but I think it would perform well enough in matches too. The racket itself is very light and easy to swing, so it's an excellent racket that even beginners can handle easily. It feels slightly short on power, but once you get used to it, it's no problem.
