    • Outstanding value at under 2,000 yen
    • Slightly heavier feel appeals to some but not others

▲ PositiveAvailable under 2,000 yen with thick, high-quality feathers. Excellent durability that doesn't deteriorate easily even with hard use. It's good to know various shuttle manufacturers.
▽ CriticalThe feel is heavy and difficult to return serves. Clears don't go deep unless hit in the center, and beginners may risk shoulder pain.

Kubelik (Experience:6-10 years) An excellent shuttle if you're OK with the feel

This shuttle comes in two versions: one without a sticker and one with a sticker.
According to the store clerk, the only difference is whether the sticker is applied, and the quality is exactly the same, so I bought this one.
I think it was about 300 yen cheaper.
You can buy it for 2,000-something yen, so I thought it was economical too.

People used to YONEX, MIZUNO, or GOSEN shuttles will probably find the feel slightly heavy.
However, I didn't feel the flight was noticeably worse, and in fact I found the feel quite pleasant.
The feathers are thick too, and I felt they were better quality than those on Company Y's approved shuttles.
It's also very durable and doesn't wear out easily even with hard use, which I liked.
I couldn't judge the variation between shuttles yet, so I'm taking off 1 point for that.

I've heard that national teams practice with the official-grade shuttles of the host country they're competing in.
I think it's good to get to know shuttles from various makers.

Surume (Experience:6-10 years) This durability at a low price

Even as a certain company's prices went up, this one didn't go up as much, and its durability is good, which was great.
Because it's so durable, the shuttle is slightly heavy, and
I think people will be split on whether that's a plus or a minus.

Satokoko (Experience:2-3 years) The feel is heavy

My first LI-NING shuttle. I tried it for basic rallies, and overall the feel was heavy (the speed number was appropriate). Smashes carry well, but on receives, combined with the weight of the shuttle, it was hard to return. As for clears, it doesn't reach the back unless you hit the center of the racket, and I felt beginners might hurt their shoulders. Durability wasn't great either; after a 15-point half-court singles game, 1 or 2 feathers were chipped.
