I had never worn the Airlas series before, so I bought them as a challenge. In conclusion, they did not suit me. First of all, the lightness is the biggest selling point of Airlas, but of course the stability around the ankle is lacking. Because of the weight and lack of cushioning, you need to be more careful than usual about the impact when landing and the area around the ankle when taking a big step or a turning step. In the first place, I do not have beautiful footwork, and I take big steps rather than small, fine steps, so the impact on my body is large when I take a step, so I thought that a shoe with a certain degree of cushioning would suit me. When it comes to speed play, it may be easier to move around if it is lighter, but at the amateur level, I don't think that a difference of several tens of grams in the shoe makes that much of a difference, and I preferred shoes that were more stable even in exchange for that (65 series, Comfort series, etc.). However, I think this is a recommended pair of shoes for those who can perform fine and beautiful footwork at a higher level and want to eliminate unnecessary things in order to focus all their energy on speed play.
