    User Review SummaryAI Summary
This uniquely designed racket balances lightweight 5U construction with head-heavy specifications, excelling in swing-through and maneuverability. The hollow design compensates for weight limitations, making it particularly suitable for players struggling with receiving. However, some users note a narrow sweet spot and frame vibration issues, indicating preferences vary.
    ■ Frequently mentioned points
    • 5U weight paired with head-heavy design for powerful shots
    • Hollow frame design enables excellent swing-through and handling
    • Easier receiving performance and versatile all-around play
    • Narrow sweet spot with noticeable frame deflection
    • Soft shaft emphasizing ball retention over quick rebound
    ■ Representative voices
▲ PositiveSolves receiver challenges despite head-heavy design. The 5U lightness reduces fatigue while delivering strong smashes and versatile shot-making capabilities across all play styles.
▽ CriticalNarrow sweet spot with noticeable power loss and frame vibration. Performs inferiorly to competing 5U head-heavy rackets from other manufacturers.

      Johnny (Experience:2-3 years) Feels good!

I use the NANOFLARE 800 in 4u. I was looking for a second racket I could use as a main, but YONEX doesn't have anything that suits me better than the NANOFLARE 800, so I looked at other makers and ended up with this racket.

I strung it with BG66 ULTIMAX at 27 lbs.

When moving it a little, it feels about as head-heavy as the ASTROX 99. But when you swing it hard, things change. Maybe because it's 5u and has little air resistance, it's far easier to swing than the ASTROX 99 (though of course not as easy as the NANOFLARE 800). Even I, whose receiving falls apart with head-heavy rackets, find it easy to receive with (in doubles). Smashes come out strong without a problem, and drops, cuts and net shots are no problem either. It's easy to use for everything.

5u, head-heavy, and supports up to 32 lbs. They've targeted a spot YONEX doesn't cover.

I was planning to sell it on a certain online flea market if I didn't like it. It has a different character from the NANOFLARE 800, but I want to keep using it with care.

    • Both my racket and my chair are Duora

Both my racket and my chair are Duora (Experience:4-5 years) A really peculiar racket

5UG6, a unique racket with a stated balance point of 327mm.
Light, but it swings heavy. By feel, at least 4U or more.

Smashes are fairly decent thanks to the low mass and the head weight. Good for a 5U.
This applies to the whole AIRSTREAM and AERONAUT lines, but the sweet spot is small.
Also, there's a feeling that power escapes somewhere, and the face wobble bothers me.

People it suits will love it. It's certainly interesting, but I think I prefer other brands' 5U head-heavy rackets…. The 5U AXFORCE 90, or from another brand the FORTIUS 20, seems better in every respect performance-wise.

By the way, player Watanabe's 9000I is something completely different from the retail version. Apparently 3U.

    • Tino Minton

Tino Minton (Experience:11-20 years) Covers the weaknesses of head-heavy rackets

A rare spec: head-heavy, 5U, with a fairly flexible shaft.
The AERONAUT itself has a hollow design that makes it easy to swing, so being head-heavy isn't a burden, and the 5U lightness further covers its weaknesses.

I'd like people who find head-heavy rackets weak on receives, or heavy and tiring later in a match, to try it.

The somewhat flexible shaft bothers me a little, but lately product lineups that focus a bit more on shuttle hold rather than repulsion are becoming mainstream, so I think it's following that trend.

Above all, the design is super cool! lol

    • Bado Mani

Bado Mani (Experience:11-20 years) Lightweight but you can hit heavy smashes!

The head is very heavy, but the overall weight is light, so receives are easy to hit.
For smashes and clears, using your wrist and the weight of the head to send the shuttle is the best.

      Maneuverability is good too!
