    User Review SummaryAI Summary
Highly evaluated as a high-performance racket for doubles back-court play, with particular praise for smash power and smooth swing. Opinions on the CV coating's impact on feel are mixed, but overall it is supported as a practical choice for advanced players.
    ■ Frequently mentioned points
    • Exceptionally fast and powerful smash shots
    • Easy to swing without feeling heavy
    • Optimal for doubles back-court play
    • CV coating provides thick grip for easy handling
    • Excellent shuttle contact and drive push capability
    ■ Representative voices
▲ PositiveThe smash is incredibly fast with excellent shuttle contact. The CV design eliminates the need for under-wrapping, making it exceptionally easy to use in doubles back-court and ideal for players lacking decisive power.
▽ CriticalThe CV coating creates a weak or absent feel on impact, making it seem like the shuttle isn't flying even when it is. Additionally, the recommended tension is limited to 25 pounds maximum.

      Baborabu (Experience:11-20 years) A super-speed racket!

Honestly, I didn't really understand what CV does, but the racket's performance was very good.
When I held it, I thought it might be a bit heavy, but it's so easy to swing that I hardly felt the weight when swinging. The repulsion is excellent too, so you can push through with drives. The best part was the smash! The balance is slightly toward the head, so you can hit powerful smashes one after another. Personally, I can hit smashes with even more power than with the RECON!
      I can't let go of it now (^^;
I recommend it for players who are good at playing rear court in doubles.
      Maybe you can feel the CV effect not in practice matches but in tense moments of official matches (^^;

    • Nariyuki Badminton Papa☆ミ

Nariyuki Badminton Papa☆ミ Might be easier to use for singles than doubles

I love the BLAZE 8000J and wanted to try other rackets, so I bought this.
Honestly, it felt harder to use than the 8000J.
It's not hard to hit with; you can hit good smashes, it's fast, and I think it's a very good racket, but if you asked whether I could keep swinging it for a long time, I don't think I could...
POWER ROD 2 gives a very good impression, but I felt that singles would make better use of this racket's potential.

Nameko (Experience:4-5 years) Super easy to use

Above all, it fits nicely in the hand and is easy to handle. (Thanks to CV?)
The shaft is stiff and the balance is even, so it's very maneuverable and the shuttle carries well.
It felt similar to the NANORAY 900 from a certain famous manufacturer, Company Y.
Recommended for advanced players who want to smash hard!!

    • Neton

Neton (Experience:4-5 years) Personally, a wonderful racket!

My impression of the CV is that it makes the grip thicker, so people who wrap an under-wrap might no longer need it.

The racket's own performance is good and it grabs the shuttle well; when I, an AS99 user, hit a smash with it, the people I always practice with said, "Your smash is so fast I can't see it!"

      Pros
      - Smashes are insanely fast
      - Thanks to the CV, no need to wrap an under-wrap
      - The grip is big, so it's easy to handle for people with big hands
      - The head weight isn't very noticeable
      - It grabs the shuttle well, overhead shots come naturally, and there's little strain on the shoulders and knees

      Cons
      - Recommended tension is up to 25 lbs, so you can't string it at high tension
      - When I used it, the racket broke in 3 months
      - Women with small hands may find it hard to handle

    • Joni

Joni (Experience:6-10 years) Specialized for the rear court in doubles!!

I think it's an outstandingly easy racket to use in the rear court in doubles.
Compared with other doubles rackets and rackets for the doubles rear court, its performance felt like it packed in all the best features of YONEX's ASTROX 88D and NANORAY 900 and GOSEN's GUNGNIR β.
I didn't really understand what "CV" means, but it's definitely a good racket.
I recommend it for doubles players who feel they lack finishing power.

ijokkoji (Experience:11-20 years) Is CV a matter of taste?

This racket features the new material Countervail.
The head feels a bit on the heavy side.

Maybe because of the CV, there seemed to be little or no feel when I hit.
The shuttle was flying, but it felt like it wasn't, which felt really off...
In reality it flies well and there's no problem at all.
My friend said it didn't bother them.

It just didn't seem to suit me.
