      Gatchin （Experience：2-3 years） A junior racket

Since it's a junior racket, it's shorter than regular rackets, so it's easy for small children to handle. Kids can hit the shuttle squarely on the face. Apart from being shorter, it's the same as a regular racket, so the frame is very sturdy. It's a racket made with children well in mind.

      hasshi （Experience：Less than a year） Using a badminton racket

I got into badminton after taking badminton in PE class in high school.
The PE rackets at school were shared by everyone, so many had torn-up strings, and some were so bad a shuttle could go right through them.
So I bought my own racket and used that.
I still use it when I play with my kids.
It's sturdy, but the strings loosen, so maintaining it is a hassle.
