NO.1 Badminton review site

I'd been interested in the BRAVE SWORD series, which Korean players have used for years, so I bought one!

The frame is diamond-shaped, and when you swing, it's as if it slices through the air; you don't feel any air resistance.
For control, the face is large and the shaft is about 7 mm thick, so you can hit stable shots.
The head doesn't feel heavy, and I think even in 3U you won't feel much weight.
The feel is like there's a spring built in; it flexes but repels the shuttle quickly, so clears go deep even when you've been pushed back.
For smashes, maybe because I use 3U, when I hit it squarely I can hit fast smashes that keep going.

Overall it's a very good racket, but if there's one weakness, if you're used to heavy head-heavy rackets or box frames, your swing on drives and receives gets too fast, and until I got used to it I hit the shuttle in odd spots. But that's how good the swing speed is.

For YONEX, I think it's easiest to picture if you think of it as a NANORAY 800 made slightly head-heavy.

The shaft is on the stiff side. Its features are that it's light and easy to swing, but it's probably for intermediate players and above. I can feel how wide the sweet spot is, which makes stable play possible. It also feels like it absorbs shock. If you have a certain level of skill, it's a racket that makes all kinds of play easy.

It's a pretty light racket. Swing speed, maneuverability, control: it performs well in every area. It also has no quirks, so I think it's a racket that both doubles and singles players can use without any problem.

At first, when I heard VICTOR mentioned for badminton, it didn't ring a bell, but when I actually tried the BRAVE SWORD 09N, I was surprised at how light and easy to swing it is. It's the easiest racket to use of any I've used so far. It's reasonably priced and well balanced overall. Everyone should definitely give it a try.
